Former President Asif Ali Zardari has spoken out about the situation in Zaman Park, Islamabad. During an interview with a private TV channel, he expressed his view that there has been a drama there since morning.He also stated that he does not consider Imran Khan to be a politician, and that he cannot be talked to. In his opinion, the Parliament is supreme, and Nawaz Sharif's decision to stay in London is his own political decision. He believes that greed cannot run the country.Zardari went on to say that he and his husband have not received their salaries to date. He also mentioned that Imran Khan is not more popular than Bibi Shaheed. Zardari thinks that his popularity is due to poverty, and he denied that any audio of him has been released.
The former president shared that he has served 14 years of imprisonment. He refused an offer from Jam Sadiq to leave the airport in a car from jail. He also claimed that Parvez Elahi staked his politics on someone's phone. Additionally, Zardari believes that the responsibility of removing Miftah Ismail lies with the PML-N.Zardari clarified that there were no talks on the election during his meeting with the Prime Minister. They only discussed security matters. He stated that Sindh gives the most income, and that Punjab has benefited the most from the 18th amendment. He aims to strengthen the federation.
Regarding Nawaz Sharif's return, Zardari thinks it is his personal problem. He emphasized that timing is crucial for the PPP's return in Punjab. He added that NAB and business cannot go together, and that everyone is afraid before doing the right thing.Zardari expressed that General (R) Bajwa was misguided, and that Imran Khan's security concerns are not justified. He believes that everyone should be on the same page regarding Shahbaz Sharif as the Prime Minister. He believes in what Sharif says, and that they stand with Mian Sahib.
