Imran Khan was not declared completely honest and trustworthy: Justice (R) Saqib Nisar

The former Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, Saqib Nisar, denied declaring Imran Khan completely honest and trustworthy in all matters. He made these remarks during an interview on a private TV channel. Justice (R) Saqib Nisar expressed concern about people discussing court decisions without understanding the law. He stated that, except for one case, he has always been given relief by the courts.
The former Chief Justice revealed that even before, his privacy was violated when his WhatsApp was hacked for two days, which he has not yet recovered. He feared that his mobile data could be used for malicious purposes. He declared that combining his videos to make an audio and interfering in someone's personal life was theft.
Regarding Imran Khan, Justice (R) Saqib Nisar clarified that he did not declare him completely honest and trustworthy. He explained that Imran Khan was declared as such based on three points presented by Akram Sheikh. Imran Khan proved to be righteous and trustworthy on all three points.
When asked about General (R) Faiz pressuring him to disqualify Nawaz Sharif in the Panama case, Justice (R) Saqib Nisar denied the allegation and questioned who General Faiz was. He also denied lobbying for Imran Khan in the judiciary, saying that he was only concerned about his children's future.
The former Chief Justice believed that the solution to the country's problems lies in the elections. He expressed frustration that decisions made for the country's survival were not being followed. He said that he may have made wrong decisions, but he would write the entire story of his tenure, from 1997 to the post of Chief Justice, in a book to be published after his death.
