Jeevan Meghwar, popularly known as Jeevan Chehlariyo, was born on 16 January 1991. He belongs to the historic city of Chehlhar in the Thar region. Chehlhar is renowned as the hometown of idealist teachers and historians Raichand Rathore and Mangharam Ojha, authors of internationally recognized historical works such as Tarikh-e-Registan and Purano Parkar.

Chehlhar is also associated with folk literature, being home to the poet and writer Bharomal Amrani. The city holds deep historical significance, featuring the famous ancient Ranasar Pond of Thar and a fort built during the Mirs’ era. Located in the vast geographical region of Dhat, Chehlhar nurtures a rich cultural legacy—within which lives a devoted admirer of Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai, Jeevan Chehlariyo.

For more than a decade, he has remained actively engaged in spreading the message and poetry of Shah Latif Bhittai across the remotest corners of Sindh, organizing spiritual and cultural gatherings with Bhittai’s fakirs and followers.

Jeevan Chehlariyo has established the Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai Research Library in his native village. The library currently houses more than five hundred and fifty books on Shah Latif studies, including rare manuscripts, various editions of Shah Jo Risalo, and other valuable works.

He is presently engaged in writing an explanation and interpretation of Shah Latif’s “Ganj” in the Dhatki language. In addition, another of his books—focused on final-pass teachers of Tharparkar district—is nearing completion.

Another important field of his research interest is Ghalibiyat. His library contains more than one hundred and fifty books related to Mirza Ghalib, including manuscript copies of Ghalib’s Diwan, Murqqa-e-Chughtai, Ghalib Number, and other critical works on Ghalib studies.

This wandering fakir of Shah Latif continuously strives to support scholars, students, teachers, and literature enthusiasts by providing access to rare books and research material through his library and other platforms. His life remains dedicated to tireless inquiry, service, and intellectual pursuit.

Jeevan Chehlariyo completed his primary and secondary education in his village, passed his college examination from Government Degree College, Mithi, and earned a BBA (HRM) degree in 2014 from Sindh University, Mirpurkhas Campus. Later, in 2017, he completed his MBA (HRM) from Sindh Madressatul Islam University, Karachi.

He has served for more than seven years in various organizations as an Administration and Human Resource Officer. Alongside his professional career, he has remained deeply involved in social causes, raising his voice on critical issues faced by Sindh, advocating for the province’s resources, participating in welfare initiatives, and contributing actively toward resolving collective social problems.

He has organized career counseling programs for students in Chehlhar, Mithi, and other cities. Moreover, he has played a significant role in establishing and reviving more than thirty libraries across Sindh, achieving encouraging success and public appreciation for these efforts.

“Like the deer chasing illusion, restless in this world,
He wears no crown of ease, nor seeks a life of rest;
Whoever truly understands, knows the pain of Sassui
Is not borrowed—it is deeply lived.”

Heartfelt best wishes are extended to Jeevan Meghwar, also known as Jeevan Chehlariyo, for his continued dedication to knowledge, culture, literature, and the collective well-being of society.
