Petition Filed in Lahore High Court to Remove Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar

In a significant development, a formal petition has been submitted to the Lahore High Court seeking the removal of Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar from office.

The filed application urges the issuance of an order to dismiss Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar from his position.

The position asserted in the application is that, following the completion of Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar's constitutional term, the continuation of his tenure has become ineffective.

As per the applicant, the term of Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar officially concluded on November 15. Consequently, according to constitutional provisions, Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar is no longer holding the office of Prime Minister.

The applicant emphasizes that neither the Election Commission nor any constitutional court has granted an extension during Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar's term.
