Badin Celebrates Pakistan Resolution Day with Enthusiasm and Spirit

Pakistan Resolution was celebrated with enthusiasm and spirit in Badin, as reported by Social Media Point Badin on March 23. The main ceremony took place in Gym Khana. Addressing the gathering, Deputy Commissioner Agha Shahnawaz Khan emphasized the historical significance of March 23, 1940, when the All India Muslim League passed a resolution in Lahore, which eventually led to the creation of a separate Muslim state in the subcontinent. He further added that the freedom we enjoy today is a priceless blessing from Allah Almighty, achieved after the endless hard work and sacrifices of our elders.

During the event, the deputy commissioner inspected various models made by children and congratulated them on their efforts. He also spoke to the media, appreciating the talent of children in Badin district and announced a cash prize of Rs 10,000 for each school. These children will also participate in competitions held at the division level.

When asked about Ramadan, he informed that the district administration has established a thrift market in every taluka, ensuring that the poor can also enjoy the spirit of Ramadan and purchase daily necessities at a lower price.

The event was attended by a large number of officials, students, political and social leaders, as well as citizens from all walks of life.
