The Islamabad High Court has taken action on the recommendations of the commission regarding the forced disappearances of Baloch students. Notices have been issued to the Prime Minister, Interior Minister, Defense Minister, and Minister for Human Rights.

Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kiyani has issued a written order, spanning 5 pages, regarding the last hearing.
The Secretaries of Interior and Defense have also been summoned to appear in court on November 29 at 11 a.m.
The written order states that the Prime Minister and Interior Minister, who have connections with Balochistan, have not taken any positive steps on this issue. The Prime Minister, federal ministers, and secretaries are urged to explain why the matter is not being given importance.
The Islamabad High Court has mentioned in the written order that the Minister for Human Rights, Interior Secretary, and Defense Secretary should also appear in court in person for the next hearing.
Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kiyani has stated in the written order that it is hoped that the Prime Minister, federal ministers, and secretaries will appear in court with tangible results.
He mentioned in the written order that the court expects to be informed about the safe return of the missing students to their homes.
According to the written order, the racial profiling of 69 Baloch students from various universities has been conducted, and they have been subjected to harassment and forced disappearances. Some missing students have returned home, but at least 50 are still absent, according to records.
According to the court order, former Chief Justice of the High Court, Athar Minallah, had formed a commission to address the concerns of Baloch students. The Additional Attorney General acknowledged that forcibly disappeared Baloch students are still missing.
The written order of the Islamabad High Court states that despite 21 hearings, positive results have not emerged on this issue, which is a violation of the Constitution of Pakistan.
Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kiyani mentioned in the written order that the courts are the last hope for the oppressed, and the lax behavior of state officials has eroded public trust in higher courts.
According to the written order, the court expresses alarm that the Baloch students' forced disappearances are an accusation against state institutions, and the government seems indifferent to recovering them. The Islamabad High Court concludes that the government, responsible for protecting the rights of citizens, is not preventing human rights violations. The court sees no other option but to summon the Prime Minister, Defense Minister, and Interior Minister for the protection of citizens' rights.
The court's written order states that, according to the commission's report, institutions responsible for enforcing the law against students of universities and colleges have taken action. Any student involved in anti-state activities should be presented in the relevant court.
