In Badin district, Independence Day celebrations were held with great enthusiasm. The Independence Day ceremony took place at Gymkhana Badin, where Deputy Commissioner of Badin, Agha Shah Nawaz Khan, Additional Deputy Commissioner Waqar Ahmed Kalhoro, ASP Muhammad Saad Bin Obaid, Assistant Commissioner Shafi Ahmed Areesar, Deputy Director of Livestock Muhammad Jaman Chandio, Chairman of Municipal Committee Badin Pir Muhammad Saleh Qureshi, Vice Chairman Ali Akbar Memon, District Information Officer Sarfaraz Samoon, District Education Officer Secondary Allah Dino Malah, District Nutrition Officer PPIA Asif Ali Ansari, and others were present. Following the flag hoisting ceremony by Deputy Commissioner Badin, Agha Shah Nawaz Khan, the Sindh Police team saluted the national flag and marched past. While addressing the ceremony, Deputy Commissioner Badin, Agha Shah Nawaz Khan, emphasized that freedom is a great blessing, and its value should be cherished. He also noted that nations without the privilege of freedom truly understand its significance. He stated that as we celebrate Independence Day with fervor, we honor the sincere efforts and sacrifices of our ancestors. Students from different schools delivered speeches and presented tableaus. Deputy Commissioner Badin awarded a cash prize of 5,000 rupees to students presenting tableaus, and speech participants received shields. Furthermore, Deputy Commissioner Badin, Agha Shah Nawaz Khan, took part in a tree plantation drive at Gymkhana Badin.

He also highlighted the significant efforts of Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari for the improvement of health and education. He shared that the District Council awards scholarships to talented students every year, and this year, 2 million rupees have been allocated in the budget for scholarships. He expressed gratitude to the people of Badin District for entrusting him with the opportunity to serve as District Chairman once again. He pledged to work hard to fulfill the hopes of the people. Addressing the ceremony, Chairman Municipal Committee Badin, Pir Muhammad Saleh Qureshi, emphasized the value of freedom and expressed joy at witnessing the enthusiasm of children during the event. He regarded these children as the future.
