Cyclone Bipar Joy is located 600 kilometers south of Karachi. Under its influence, the weather in the city of Quaid is likely to remain humid and hot today, with the mercury touching 34 degrees Celsius in the morning.
The Meteorological Department has predicted that the maximum temperature today is likely to reach 39 to 41 degrees Celsius, possibly even touching 45 degrees, with a minimum temperature of 30 degrees Celsius.

In Shahr-i-Quaid, the wind speed is 18 kilometers per hour from the southeast direction, with a humidity ratio of 41%.
According to the Meteorological Department, the cyclone has been moving northward for the past 12 hours and is currently situated 580 km south of Thatta.
By June 14, the cyclone is expected to continue moving northwards. On the afternoon of June 15, it will cross southeast Sindh and Indian Gujarat.
Waves as high as 35 to 40 feet are expected in the center of the storm, with winds and thunderstorms possible along the coastline.
Due to the storm, there is a possibility of thunderstorms in Karachi and Hyderabad between June 13 and 16, with heavy rain likely in some areas of Southeast Sindh.
Heavy rain is expected in Thatta, Sajawal, Badin, Tharparkar, and Umarkot from June 13 to 17.
During this time, wind speeds in these areas can reach 80 to 100 km per hour.
The intensity of the storm will decrease in 3 to 4 days, according to the Chief Meteorologist.
Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfaraz stated that the intensity of storms is increasing due to climate change.

Sardar Sarfaraz mentioned that it may take 3 to 4 days for the intensity of Bipar Joy to subside after it makes landfall.
He also noted that the storm could bring 200 to 300 mm of rain to Thatta, Sajawal, Badin, and Mirpur Khas.
According to the Chief Meteorologist, heavy rainfall in a single spell cannot be ruled out.
