Islamabad - NAB Discredits Allegations Against Imran Khan: Medical Reports Show No Traces of Cocaine or Alcohol

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has announced that it possesses the medical reports containing the blood and urine samples of Prime Minister Imran Khan. According to NAB sources, these reports provide no evidence of cocaine or alcohol use, contradicting the claims made by Health Minister Abdul Qadir Patel a few days ago.

The source within the bureau, who has thoroughly reviewed the medical reports, stated that all of Imran Khan's health indicators are within the normal range. The blood and urine samples were collected during his time in NAB custody, making these reports the property of the bureau.

In a recent press conference, Health Minister Abdul Qadir Patel alleged that Imran Khan's medical tests, conducted while he was in custody for a corruption case, revealed the presence of alcohol and cocaine. Patel claimed that five doctors were involved in preparing the preliminary medical report, which pointed towards intoxicant use. The government, according to Patel, intends to release the complete medical report of Imran Khan to the public.

However, independent medical experts have already dismissed Abdul Qadir Patel's allegations, deeming them absurd and baseless. In a previous episode of his show, Jio's anchor person Shahzeb Khanzada shared the medical report and press conference details with three doctors, who unanimously rejected Patel's claims.

It is worth noting that the urine report typically becomes available within a few days. However, it took the health minister a staggering 17 days to present this preliminary report. Patel had previously stated that a detailed report would be forwarded to the police as soon as it was released.

These developments have dealt a blow to the credibility of the allegations made by Abdul Qadir Patel. With the NAB's medical reports refuting any indications of cocaine or alcohol use by Imran Khan, questions have been raised about the motives behind the health minister's statements. As the controversy continues to unfold, many eagerly await further clarifications and an official response from the concerned authorities.
