Lahore (Web Desk) - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has expressed his disappointment over the lack of change in the country's situation following the appointment of the new army chief. In an interview with the Foreign Affairs Agency, Imran Khan stated that he had hoped for a positive change but unfortunately, the difficulties have increased.

Regarding recent rumors of his desire to talk to the Army Chief, Imran Khan has categorically denied any such interest. He emphasized that he only seeks fair and transparent elections in the country and is willing to discuss the matter with anyone.

When asked about the possibility of speaking to the establishment, Imran Khan clarified that he is a political person and is willing to talk to everyone except those who are corrupt and dishonest.

Additionally, Imran Khan cleared the air by stating that he never invited Army Chief or Shehbaz Sharif for any discussions.

Reflecting on the behavior of the establishment following the appointment of the new army chief, Imran Khan asserted that there has been no significant change in the situation. He noted that the opponents are trying to disqualify him or put him in jail, but he won the 2018 election because the nation has turned against the ruling parties.

Regarding the appointment of Pervez Elahi as the party president, Imran Khan stated that the vice chairman takes over the leadership of the party after the chairman. He highlighted that Pervez Elahi has been able to withstand the pressure of the establishment.

Lastly, Imran Khan stated that there are more than seventy cases against him, but they are all baseless and will end once they go to court.
