Empowering Women A Key to Progress and Equality in Society


On the occasion of International Women's Day on March 8th, 2023, NPGP Project, NRSP District Badin Office organized a program at Union Council Ghulam Shah Village Jan Muhammad Laghari. The program was attended by District Council Member Tanveer Khan, Abdul Ghaffar, Shabana Rind, Rizwan Rind on behalf of the Educational Department, Shaukat Ali on behalf of Public Health and Engineering Department and DPC, Khair Muhammad Jat, and Samira Memon on behalf of NRSP, NPGP District Badin.
During the program, the speakers emphasized the crucial role of women in society and the need to recognize and empower them. They stated that women have been oppressed due to the lack of recognition of their importance in society. The speakers emphasized that women should be given the same freedom and rights as men, and only then can society truly progress. Education is the most fundamental right for women and it is essential for them to play an equal role in society. 

Women who participated in the program expressed their appreciation for the opportunity to learn more about their rights. They emphasized that women have an important role to play in society and they should be given the freedom and resources to achieve their full potential. They also stressed the need to educate girls and to stop early marriages.
