Supreme Court Petition Filed Against President Arif Alvi

A civilian has submitted a petition to the Supreme Court calling for the removal of President Arif Alvi from office.

The petitioner alleges that the Supreme Court should take action against the President for his bias and misconduct.

If President Arif Alvi is found involved in misconduct, he should be removed from office. The petition contends that the President is biased, unfit to hold office due to a lack of commitment to impartiality, and not adhering to the responsibilities of the head of state. It further claims that he is not working impartially according to his oath of office.

The petition highlights that the President is deviating from his constitutional responsibilities, using his office in favor of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) movement. It also accuses him of not fulfilling his constitutional duties by failing to announce the date of elections and not adhering to his constitutional responsibilities.

The petition asserts that the President, in violation of his constitutional responsibilities, has misused the oath of office. This includes making tweets on social media about acts such as the Army Act and Official Secrets Act, providing evidence of his bias without formally signing them.

The implicated parties in the petition include President Arif Alvi, his secretary, and the Ministry of Law and Justice.
