The prediction by Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfraz has been released regarding the areas of Karachi at risk of sea water intrusion due to Cyclone Baparjoy.
He has stated that high waves may result in water entering nearby creeks and channels in Karachi.

Sardar Sarfraz has mentioned that DHA and other coastal areas are not under threat from the high waves.
The Chief Meteorologist has indicated that during the monsoon season, water often reaches Hawke's Bay road.
He further added that the impact of Cyclone Buparjoy on June 15 will continue until June 17.
Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfaraz has also warned of the possibility of strong winds and thunderstorms along the coastal belt of Sindh due to the storm.
