The Supreme Court has ordered NAB to submit the details of the amounts owed to Hale in corruption cases.
Islamabad: The Supreme Court has ordered NAB to present details of the amount of money owed in corruption cases. The court asked how much money has been deposited with the province or federal government. The NAB prosecutor responded and said that the money stolen from the government or the institution is deposited with that government or institution.
The Chief Justice said that all details of the deposited amount should be presented at the next hearing, after which we will review it. Under the NAB amendments, evidence of financial payments from anonymous accounts should also be given to the NAB.
Justice Ijazullah Hassan said that the NAB amendments have limited the scope of the law instead of expanding it. The court adjourned the hearing of the case until April 4.
