National Tsing Hua University (NTHU) is accepting applications from international students for Bachelor’s, Master’s and PhD programmes for Spring 2027.

🎓 Bachelor’s and Master’s
- Tuition and miscellaneous fee coverage
- Credit fee coverage
- NT$5,000 per month stipend under Type A
- Type B provides fee coverage without a monthly stipend
- Master’s funding may continue for up to 2 years, subject to renewal
🔬 PhD
- Full tuition coverage
- NT$20,000–40,000 per month for eligible STEM, education and selected interdisciplinary fields
- NT$10,000 per month for eligible Humanities and Social Sciences PhD students

🌐 English Requirement
IELTS Academic 5.5 / TOEIC 750 / TOEFL iBT 71 (legacy scale), or approved alternatives or exemptions.

- High-school diploma for Bachelor’s applicants
- Bachelor’s degree for Master’s applicants
- Master’s degree for PhD applicants
- Academic transcripts
- Statement of Purpose
- Two recommendation letters
- Passport or nationality documents
- Financial proof or scholarship proof
💵 Financial Proof
Normally, applicants are required to provide financial proof of at least NT$120,000 / US$4,000, or proof of an already granted scholarship.
