Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Assembly session jo naye chune hue members ko qasam dene ke liye bulaya gaya tha, abhi tak shuru nahi hua hai kyunki Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) ke workers ne legislature mein hangama macha diya hai, Geo News ne Wednesday ko riport kiya hai.
Session 11am par shuru hona tha, lekin abhi tak shuru nahi hua hai kyunki chune hue lawmakers Assembly hall mein dakhil hone mein mushkilat ka samna kar rahe hain jab ke kai Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) ke workers ne floor mein dakhil hone ki koshish ki hai.
Is ke ilawa, kam az kam 350 police karmchari KP Assembly building ke bahar tainaat kiye gaye hain kyunki Awami National Party ne ghoshna ki thi ke wo legislature ke bahar protest karegi jab naye chune hue members qasam lete hain.
Geo News ke mutabiq, KP Assembly ke aspaas ke ilaqe mein internet ki sahulat bhi band kar di gayi hai.
KP Assembly February 8 ke general elections ke baad teesra aisa provincial legislature hoga jo qasam uthayega.
Pichle haftay, Punjab aur Sindh ke assemblies qasam utha chuki hain.
Aaj ke session mein Speaker Mushtaq Ghani ko naye chune hue provincial legislators ko qasam dilane ki umeed hai.
"Constitution ke Article 109 ke clause (a) ke zariye mujhe diye gaye ikhtiyarat ka istemal karte hue [...] KP ke Governor ne khushi hasil ki hai ke wo provincial assembly ko February 28, 2024 ko 11am par bulaya hai [...] us waqt [...] apne members ki qasam, speaker aur deputy speaker ka intikhab aur qasam lenay ke liye," yeh official notification jo is haftay pehle session ke liye jaari kiya gaya tha, parhne mein aata hai.
Jitne bhi 113 naye chune hue members hain, jo ke assembly mein general seats par chune gaye hain, aaj umeed hai ke wo 145-seat wale ghar mein qasam lein ge jo ke ane wale dino mein apna chief minister intikhab karne wala hai. 145 mein se, 30 seats reserved hain, jin mein 26 aurton ke liye aur char minorities ke liye hain, abhi tak ghoshit nahi ki gayi hain kyunki yeh mamla Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) ke samne mojud hai.
Is ke ilawa, do general seats par elections postpone kiye gaye hain un candidates ke intiqal ke baad un mukhtalif halqon mein.
February 8 ke polls ke baad, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)-backed independent candidates, jo baad mein Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) mein shamil ho gaye hain, 90 seats ke sath sab se bade party ke tor par samne aaye hain aur halqay ke sarbrah ke liye unka ummeedwar candidate Ali Amin Gandapur hai.
Is ke ilawa, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) ne saat seats hasil ki hain, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) ke paanch aur Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) ke chaar seats.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf-Parliamentarians (PTI-P) aur Awami National Party (ANP) ne do aur ek seat jeeti hai, mutawassit.
PML-N ki koshishon ke bawajood ke wo PPP, ANP aur JUI-F jese doosri opposition parties se support ikattha kare, apne chief minister ke liye apna candidate lana, zyada taur par SIC (jo ke PTI-backed candidates hain) kaamyaab ho sakti hai chief minister ke liye Gandapur ko mukhya n executive ke tor par intikhab karne mein, unki bari hone ki wajah se ghar mein.
