Snowstorm Engulfs Southern Russia, Ukraine, and Moldova
The snowstorm has swept through southern Russia, central and southern Ukraine, and some parts of Moldova, accompanied by stormy winds and the threat of flooding with snowfall.
According to international media reports, the storm and flooding in various regions of Russia, Ukraine, and Moldova have resulted in the death of 13 people and approximately 200,000 people being deprived of electricity just yesterday.
According to foreign news agencies, the snowstorm has claimed the lives of 5 people in Ukraine and 4 in Russia and Moldova. Additionally, power has been cut off in hundreds of villages and rural areas, and roads have been closed due to heavy snowfall and strong winds, affecting 200,000 people.
According to foreign news agencies, at least 19 people in Ukraine and 10 in Moldova have been injured, with concerns about the increasing number of casualties.
The Meteorological Department has predicted further inclement weather, stating that there is a possibility of snowfall and precipitation in Ukraine today.
