Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah and opposition leader Raana Ansar had nominated the name of Justice (R) Maqbool Baqar for the position of Governor Sindh.
According to sources, the swearing-in ceremony of the new Chief Minister of Sindh will take place on August 16.
Prior to this, there was an agreement on the name of Justice (R) Maqbool Baqar for the role of Governor Sindh during a meeting between Chief Minister Sindh and opposition leader Raana Ansar.
Opposition leader Raana Ansar and United National Movement (MQM) also approved the name of Justice (R) Maqbool Baqar as the new Chief Minister.
In this regard, Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori mentioned that he also discussed this matter with Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) leader Sabghatullah Rashidi.
