Pakistan Bar Council Urges Political Parties to Engage in Negotiations and Reject Exclusionary Practices

Chairman of the Executive Committee, Hasan Raza Pasha, said that all political parties should negotiate together. Our forum is present for negotiations, and the attitude of excluding anyone from politics should be abandoned.

Hasan Raza Pasha further mentioned that the Supreme Court has issued an injunction on the Supreme Court Practice and Procedures Act, condemning the interference with Parliament's legislation.

Vice-Chairman of the Pakistan Bar Council, Harun Al-Rashid, stated that all the Bars agreed that the Parliament has full power to formulate the constitution.

The events of May 9 were strongly condemned during the recent Pakistan Bar Council meeting.
