Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) members staged a protest against the arrest of their party leader, Arsalan Taj, outside the Sindh Assembly today. Taj was taken into custody yesterday by law enforcement agencies in connection with a corruption case. The PTI members demanded Taj's immediate release and accused the government of targeting opposition leaders for political gain. They also criticized the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) for what they called "selective accountability." Meanwhile, a meeting of the Sindh Assembly was held under the chairmanship of Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani.

Health Minister Ezra Pechu Ho informed the house that a video of old and dilapidated ambulances in Thatta had gone viral on social media. He said that the vehicles were ten to fifteen years old and needed repairs, but it was the responsibility of the opposition party to point out the defects instead of spreading misleading stories. The minister assured the assembly that the ambulances would be repaired and redeployed to provide better healthcare services to the people. He also warned that spreading false information could harm the reputation of the health department.

The PTI members continued their protest outside the assembly, chanting slogans against the government and demanding Taj's release. The situation remained tense, but the police maintained law and order.
